Meet the wonderful horse guides
and important members of the Spirit Horse team
ApolloApollo is a soulful horse who choses who he wants to work with carefully. He is curious and in tune with what is going on with people on the inside of them and speaks a clear yet subtle language back. His biggest gift is that he helps people know if they are trying to be in relationship by forcing connection and movement or if they are truly open to being in the moment with him - in short, he is an ego buster! Apollo is my right hand man and helps when we are working with young horses, human groups, first rides for clients, trail rides, mountain journeys and demonstrations. He is a brilliant teacher and guide for us humans.

CloverClover is a sassy, beautiful mare who is a farm favorite. Clover tests every single person she meets to see if they know the rules or if she can create her own. She has a strong radar for folks who are soft and gentle in their demeanor and responds generously - well, unless it's dinner time! Clover, being a small horse, is often a favorite among children and has the spunk, boundaries, and attitude to keep up with their energy and questions. She has a nurturing quality that inspires many of us to soften and relax in her presence.

CoioteCoiote is a young horse who is immensely curious and comical in how he interacts with his favorite creatures - us humans. Coiote was named after the concept, Coyote Medicine, where we are asked to laugh at our egos. His name fits him well as he is playful, loving, and doesn't seem to take much seriously. Coiote inspires love and laughter in many of the clients who work with him and has the young horse energy that is spirited and a joy to be around.

For clients who connect to a particular horse...
If Spirit Horse clients connect to a particular horse and wish to invest in their care and time, lease options can sometimes be available. Leasing is when you take part of their care, their health, and their relationship to humans. Traditionally, a lease is when you pay for a percentage of their costs and are responsible for them for certain days of the week. This is a wonderful arrangement for folks who want to dive more into the relationship with a horse and at a fraction of the cost of ownership.
There are also other horses at the farm that might be needing a partial lease and I believe strongly in finding the right matches between horses and humans. If you are interested in leasing, please reach out to see if there are any good matches for you.
